CABLE LICENSE
M/s Super Cassettes Industries Private Limited (SCIPL) having its registered office at E-2/16, White House, Ansari Road, Daryaganj, New Delhi is the leading Music Company of India and is the exclusive owner of its trade Mark and music label “T-Series” and carries on its business under the above Trade Name and Mark. During the course of its usual business the SCIPL acquires Copyrights and all related intellectual Property Rights in several sound recordings and the literary and musical works embodied therein.
No person can telecast the audio songs, visual songs, music, repertoire, contents of T-Series without the necessary cable license and communication and telecast without license would amount to the infringement of copyrights. The license being granted herein does not include public performance rights and communication to public of the Licensed Contents in commercial establishments including but not limited to video parlors, restaurants, hotels, malls, chain stores, super markets, shops etc. As per the Copyright Act, 1957, the punishment for infringement of the copyright is the imprisonment for a term of minimum six months, which may extend to three years with fine of Rupees Fifty Thousand, which may extend to Rupees Two Lacs. The SCIPL grants the Cable License for broadcasts its contents on all India basis to the Cable Operators. The license fee for Cable Operator license is Rs. 18/- (Rupees Eighteen) per connection per house hold per month plus applicable taxes. |
